		<title>Removal of the Tenor Bell</title>

Henry Trewin (Tower Captain) and Peter Bazley (Bell Hanger) were in charge of the operation.



The bell was returned at the end of September and re-hung, during it's absence, the whole tower bell frame was repaired.</description>

The crowning of the fete queen, Katie Merritt, by the former Queen Nicky Bloomfield took place at the lych gate followed by a procession, including horse, carriage, royalty, brownies and a large crowd led by the Bideford Youth Pipe Band to Lamb Park where the fete was officially opened.</description>
